About Capria Care Collective

The Informed Pregnancy & Postpartum Care All Parents Deserve

We’re a value-driven team trained in pregnancy and postpartum, using what we know to care for parents and parents-to-be. (People who are a little too used to giving more than they get!)

A Black pregnant woman is sitting on a coach. She is holding her pregnant belly and smiling down at it. She has long black curly hair. Draped around her shoulders is a pink shawl.

Our Philosophy

Compassionate Care For Dedicated Caregivers

Our Goal: Make you feel seen, safe, and heard as you find your way back to the comfortable body you’re used to living in.

Our Vibe: Laughter, easy conversation, and coffee on the couch.

What We Do

That’s-The-Spot Relief & Long-Term Restoration

We know pre and postnatal bodies and how to help. Permission to hit us with, “This might sound weird…” or, “I don’t think this is normal” or, “It just feels off” and trust we’ll figure it out!

Who we work with

Supporting Baby-Makers Of All Ages, Stages & Identities

Whether you’re dreaming of a baby, growing one now, or you’ve given birth at any point in your life. If you identify as a parent or baby-maker, you belong here.

Our Mission

To provide relaxed-but-effective therapeutic care for those who need it most, in a safe, comfortable, and welcoming space. By building real relationships with you, we learn who you are, how you live, and how we can best help.

Our Vision

We see a world where every caregiver, parent, and baby-making superhero gets the support, attention, and care they’re used to giving. So you can keep doing work that makes the world a better place—without pain, discomfort, or burnout.

Our Values & Commitments

Body Equality

We know health happens at every size, and we take a body-neutral approach to treatment. Our goal is to give all bodies the care they absolutely deserve.

Social Justice

We’re actively learning, listening, and decolonizing our beliefs so we can create safe, equitable, anti-racist, and gender-inclusive spaces.

Reconciliation

We operate on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Kwikwetlem First Nation and we’re always learning to be better allies.

Here for you—as a whole dang person

Don’t Just Be Seen By Your Therapist. Be Heard, Too.

We already know muscles, bones, and tissues. What we want to learn about is you

We’ll listen and ask the right questions so we understand what’s happening in your body and your life. Then, help you move, function, and feel better, with:

This Is A Judgment-Free Zone!

Your appointment is yours to do what you want with. Come as you are, take what you need, ask for what you want. If you love to chat, we’ll chat. If you could use a 60-minute nap with your massage, those are free for the taking, too.

Things We Are Not Apologizing For

  • Having hairy body parts (or not shaving)

  • Showing up sweaty or after an active workout

  • Crying during your session

  • Wearing sweats to your appointment

  • Arriving late (although we do appreciate it when you try to get here on time)

  • Not wanting to fully disrobe

Repeat this mantra

  • “They do this every day. They are professionals. They do not care about my insert-thing-you’re-self-conscious-about.” (Because truly, we don’t!)
