It’s Beautiful, Exciting & Incredible, But…
It’s ok if it’s super hard too!
We don’t have to tell you that your pregnant body is going through ALL the changes right now. You know as well as better than we do that the aches, pains, cramps, and strains are taking a toll. And that you’d love to leap out of bed with that spring you used to have in your step. And that you so miss feeling comfortable in your skin!
Your body is doing so much and it’s a gosh-darn miracle that WILL be totally worth it. And maybe you will miss it one day. But with us, you don’t have to explain all that. Consider this your safe space to vent, put you first, and get what you need to have the pregnancy you want.
Less discomfort. More relief!
The Benefits of Pregnancy-Safe Massage
Research shows that prenatal massages can decrease stress hormones and physical stressors in the body, like anxiety and pain. Massages can also improve overall mood, promote better sleep, and increase the connection you feel between mind and body—even mind and baby!

Massage Is Completely Safe During Pregnancy
…And it just might be your new favourite thing!
You can safely book a massage treatment at any time during your pregnancy! As long as you aren’t experiencing signs of a high-risk pregnancy—or if you are but have been approved for RMT by your doctor—you are good to go.
Like exercise, massage is safe to be continued or started during pregnancy, as long as it’s done in a baby-safe way (which our treatments always are). Some parents are extremely cautious in the first trimester, which we fully understand and respect. Just know that whether or not you should book is an individual decision.
Prenatal RMTs + The Pregnancy Pillow = Your New BFFs
Pregnancy massage is a great way to relax and take the stress off your body and mind during pregnancy—but not all massages are created equal. Untrained hands and unsafe setups can be a risk while baby is on board.
So while we are all for that free shoulder rub your partner gave you last night, if it’s available to you, we also recommend booking a professional massage with a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) who has specific prenatal training!
Trained prenatal RMTs take all necessary precautions, avoid massage styles that are contraindicated, and use specific approaches to make your treatment safe and comfortable for you—like using a pregnancy-specific pillow to keep your weight off your bump!

What To Expect When You’re…Coming For Your First Massage
See what we did there?
Booking your first appointment can be intimidating. Here’s what we want you to know:
Our space is clean & comfy
Our space hits that perfect balance of clean and comforting. We keep it hypoallergenic and sanitized so nothing interferes with your chill, and you feel at peace from the moment you walk through the door.
We set the table for you
Prior to your arrival, your RMT will prep the room by sanitizing every touchpoint and setting up the pregnancy pillow if you need it. We’ll dress the table with crisp sheets and a fresh blanket, and heat or cool the room, too.
This is a judgment-free zonE
This is your appointment! Your comfort is #1. Please do not apologize for having hairy body parts, showing up sweaty, crying during your session, wearing sweats to your appointment, or not wanting to fully disrobe.
